SVCD & mp3 etc
good sound
a brand name I recognise
slim case is better
I have a 36" panasonic telly

thanks for any help you can give - I haven`t been keeping up to date with developments

Phil

I know you said brand name but I think it is hard to beat the multi award winning Pacific 1002w which I bought from Asda on friday. It plays everything I have thrown at it including photo disks, it also has dts sound and a great mp3 player - all that for £39 although some people in Bargain Buckets reckon it is £29 in their local Asda.

Does your Pacific DVD player play RAM discs? Well if you`re looking for full compatability on all disc formats then the Panasonic S35 is unbeatable. Dolby Digital and DTS too! You can get if for about £75

I didn`t realise the SD330 played VCDs! I am updating my player from my LG 4710 & had wanted to stick with LG as I`ve had no problems with the player & I like their menu system, but now I`m reconsidering.

Chewie, does the SD330 have any problems with RCE?

Nope. The last RCE disc I bought was Bad Boys 2, and it plays fine :)

ummm.....I could be wrong here....and it could be the 230....

...but there`s one of the current series Tosh players is actually an LG clone, and I *think* it`s the 330...

like I said, could be wrong though :)
