(I found this when trying to understand what 720p progressive was about...)

so it can drive 720p and 1080i (assuming you have a tv with a dvi-i connector e.g. most plasma`s / lcd`s). Looks like it can also drive 576P - if your screen can cope with that (MY LG 30" LCD cannot but can handle 720p and 1080i).

I notice this model isn`t listed for sale on the Samsung UK website - I have emailed them to ask why.

I also notice there is a multi-region hack for this in the info section of dvd reviewer.

Samsung UK indicate that the DVDHD935 has not been released for sale in the UK. I have mailed Panther asking whether the player is supplied with a manual in English.
