Hi
I am interested in buying a dvd player for under £200. I would like to know which player is the best to buy and where can you but it from. I would like it be a mulit region player and play vcd`s and cdr`s.
Thanks a lot

I live in the USA and just purchased the sampo dve-620 for $149.00 from dynadirect. This baby plays mp3s, dvd, cds, vcd. It will play any region including region free. Meaning, the RCE coded discs don`t stand a chance since you can manually set it for any region you want. Next, it will disable the macrovision. Also, it is 100-240v so you can bring it anywere in the world and it will work. To top it all off, it has a built in ntscpal universal signal converter. I rule-I can play any disc anytime, andywere!

I also want to buy a Sampo dve-620. And I am not experienced in changing the regions and disabling the microvision. Do you know the hacks about these. When I visited the website of dynadirect for the description of sampo dve-620, I couldn`t see anything written about 100-240 volt and ntsc/pal converter capability. If you help me I will be glad. Thank you.
