my dad has not long since bought a "panasonic sa-mt1" cinema system and it say`s in the book that you can watch the tv thru it and have the sound coming thru the 5.1 system but when you select the tv setting on the dvd it gives the sound but knocks off the picture?
any help will be much appreciated

sorry i forgot to add that it`s conected to a samsung WI-28W6VN tele via scart :)
