I stumbled across a review for the Philips 711 elsewhere on this site, & was quite surprised to read this bit, " It seems the region hack disables Macrovision (I have made many good recordings ((for my own use!)) onto VHS without problems). " I tried this, but the picture was less than excellent, (s***e actually!), so I was wondering what`s the best way of connecting up for doing this? Cheers in advance
