EXCESSIVE VIBRATION WHEN PLAYING BACKED UP DISCS
I am using Datawrite V2 blank discs to back up DVDs using a Pioneer 106 writer. I have had excellent results but when I play these in my DVD player it makes a lot of noise and vibrates although picture quality and sound are fine. I use a DVD/HIFI combo and have had to replace the laser and spindle motor and I am concerned that this vibration may damage the machine.
All other discs play fine including some other types of blank DVD but I am not sure of the brand.
Has anybody experienced this problem?

Best stick with your originals then..

Sounds like the discs are slightly off-centre. This is likely to increase wear and tear on the motor, so your concerns are justified.
If other blanks work fine, just use those instead and give the Datawrites a wide berth.
