Best DVD Player For Under/Around £50??

bous (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 11th November 2003, 16:08

My mates girlfriend wants to get him a cheap DVD player that is preferably all-singing, all-dancing ie. able to play, VCD, S-VCD, DVD-R, etc and multi region (or easily hackable).

Any suggestions welcome, cheers 8)

On the subject of £50 DVD players does anyone know what the `Resonance` (?) is like that is `FREE` in Woolies if you buy a bundle of (not bad) DVDs for £50 (When Harry met Sally, Get Shorty, Four Weddings etc)?

if you can stretch to another £10 then the pioneer dvd360 is the best CHEAP dvd player for £60, its region 2 at that price but the usual pioneer hack using a palm pilot should make it multi region
