Scan 2000 or brand name?

timp (Competent) posted this on Friday, 2nd February 2001, 22:21

I bought a logix 3000 a few weeks ago and although it is very competent with certain titles and well constructed I have run into problems (picture and sound breakup on Final Destination R2 + X-men R1.)
So it`s going back on Monday.

What I wanted to Know is how much better than the logix is the scan considering they share most components and would I be better off going for a Toshiba/Pioneer.

Any views appreciated,
Cheers.

I have a sc2000 and cant complain.

In the past the scan sc2000 has had its problems but they have really got their act together with the player and their after sales care.

I got my new scan today and i cant fault it.You can be guarenteed to upgrade the firmware and expect to have a great picture and great sound.
Add to that multi region, macro free,mp3,vcd,svcd,xvcd and cdr and cdrw capabilities.

Do yourself a favour and get on the phone and place your order.
