Page 1 of V 2.13 FIRMWARE WILL BE AVIALABLE ON SCAN SITE FRIDAY

The v2.13 will be available for download from the scan site tommorow.
As well as fixing blue shadow problem it will allow to play
gladiator disk 2 as well.It will be in the sc-2000 specs section.The new file
will arrive to me tonight.Will it be macro free.Its better to try it(nudge,nudge wink wink).

Will the new version do anything to improve the background noise(pixellation)??

As the latest firmware releases seems to reduce sharpness??

I`ve already posted the new firmware onto my web space. Here is the link I will use for all future updates:

It`s version v2.13 at the moment, but I`ve not had a chance to upgrade yet. FAQ will be updated tomorrow after testing.

How many firmware upgrades has there been for the scan, and if you bought a new machine would it need any firmware upgrades.

Could you tell me what a owner does if they can`t burn there own cds.

DO NOT USE FIRMWARE 2.13 IN CASE IT KILLS THE PLAYER.
the manufacturer will try it and let me know tommorow.

What bit of the word testing doesn`t the manufacture understand?

Dont worry ive already learnt korean for "test the F****ers before you send
them out" and other associated phrases that centre around quality
control issues.
