The one thing I find annoying about DVDs is the layer change. Is there a sufficiently expensive player available that can somehow "read ahead" to mitigate the effects of changing layer? I`d really like to find one.
The problem is that most films don`t seem to bother putting the layer change at a suitable point, i.e. during a "fade to black" moment.

I have an Aiwa 370 and get no problems at all with the layer change. The only downside with this player is its lack of SVCD support.
