Need some advice on what TV I should by today....

The Panasonic

or the JVC

Baring in mind the retailers I`ve picked these items from, what should I choose? I would really appreciate some advice as I want to order one asap!

I would have a quick look through the Retailer Reviews forum prior to ANY purchase from the Panasonic stockist. I bought the same JVC at the same price from the same retailer you have chosen about 2 / 3 weeks ago and my experience ( :) ) again is noted in the Retailer Reviews forum. Can`t recommend either the product or supplier highly enough.
Also a neighbour has the Panasonic and he`s as happy with his as I am with mine.

The jvc is apprently HDTV ready.Its a non issue at the moment but you may seen a HD satellite channel next year and HD DVD is on the horizon as well.

The JVC was always mentioned as superb in any tests I read prior to purchase.
I`ve no allegiance to JVC, I just go by `best buy` awards.
If they say it`s good, that`ll do for me.

I know about the JVC, but the Panasonic won "Best Buy Widescreen TV" in the 2003 What Hi-Fi awards. That was where my interest came from. Plus it has a Tau screen which have always been regarded as good.
