How do I know ???
Just read your hardware review and you state that the power light glows green in standby mode. Mine glows red (cue smutty remarks).
Lievn & anyone else- what about yours - Can your confirm the bad news for Jimbo ??
LOL - No hard feelings eh - perhaps yours will be a collectable ?

Check once again, smart boy! lol
If you leave a disc in the player, and switch it to standby, it will stay green for some time.
Then it turns to red!
However, remove said disc and the LED almost immediately glows red!
So :oÞ
(Discovered after the review was written..found lods more since then, but haven`t been able to get the site updated yet!!)
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!
(cue smug look on face! :oÞ)

Not quite so fast with the smug look jimbo.
Checked once again: With disc in machine, turned power off and lo and behold power light turned to red immediately.
Also left power on and player inactive, after 8 minutes or so, player turns to standby mode - light goes red immediately.
NB When you say lods more since then:
a) do you mean loads ?
b) do you mean loads more problems / quirks ?
If so and in the interests of other users (and a balanced view on the aiwa) it would be helpful to post them on the forums.
At least it would go some way to redressing the balance from the monotomy of scan messages.
