Multi Scart control boxes for a one scart TV

Arfer. (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 13th January 2001, 19:32

I have a Toshiba 2109B DVD, Sky Digital Pace box, Beko 28" TV, Samsung Video and a Sony Hifi system.

The only problem is that the TV only has one scart socket. Can anyone advise me the best way to connect the above together ?

I would be grateful if the details could be emailed as well as posted. My email is liam[at].ku.oc.refra

Cheers

Arfer.

This may be of some use to you.

Index are currently selling a Multi Scart box which takes 3 Scart Leads and converts it to just the one. I have just bought one so that i can connect my DVD and Playstation to my TV. Only problem is that the lead coming from the box is ridiculously short.

Hope this is of help to you.

PS The unit may have dropped in price as a new Index catalogue is launched on the 14th

Maplin electronics do a nice multiway switch box.

TV goes in one socket, VCR (for recording and playback) goes in another and there are 2 others scarts for DVD etc. The unit also has switched phonos - so that you can link it to a HiFi

Costs about £14
