Right, let`s see if this can be replied without any un-useful outbursts..
Does anyone have an `older` (like more than a couple of months) SC-2000 player and have upgraded the firmware to the latest (204?). If so, did it do anything interesting? (Like disable macrovision).
If it worked fine, and didn`t kill the machine :¬) could someone email it to me? ( wsrepooc[at]ten.enoenil )

If Your Firmware is Older Than 1.64 Then You Cannot Upgrade It,i.e.Bought On Or After October 26th

Is that too old? I bought the player on November 10th.

Thanks, I got the firmware after all. I had to write the CD-RW using CDRWIN as (as has been found before) nero 5 didn`t work and my easy cd creator decided to die on me. Now I`ve just got to give the macrovision test a whirl.
