aiwa 370 or hitachi dvp 305e?jimbo
i took my lecson 900 back to debenhams and got a fullrefund, it was a decent player but the noise from the drive tray was too loud and off puting.
sooooo i am now faced with a dilemma guys, do i go for an ex-demo aiwa 370( as this seems to be all that i can get my grubby little hands on) or do i go for the brand spanking new out of the box hitatchi 305?
the aiwa crowd seem to be in dvd heaven (sorry troll:) ) and the hitachi gets a good write up and can be remote hacked
advice gentlemen please
extremely urgent as i am buying on thursday!!

No contest! Get the Aiwa!
I think even the Duke will agree there!
But if you want to get the Hitachi, save yourself around £30 to £50 and buy a Samsung 511, it`s the same machine.
And I don`t mean "based" same like the Aiwa and the LG (different features, same boards), I mean they are THE SAME PLAYER!!
Just the fascia and colour of the remotes are changed.
(and of course, the back panel labels!!)
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!

If you want the Aiwa I`d hurry up if I were you ! The ex-demo models are flying off the shelves - got mine on Monday !!! 10% off - £180 !!! full warranty !! :-))

I prefered the Aiwa, because there were less problems (none at the time) posted about this model then about the Samsung models.
And it has CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 playback.
And unless you really want VCD playback, then why don`t u go for the LG 3350, wich even has a built-in Dolby Digital decoder and can be found at about the same price as the Aiwa (even cheaper)?
