Page 1 of I have a choice, what will it be?

I can buy either the Samsung CW29A8 29" widescreen OR the Goodmans 32" NICAM Stereo Widescreen TV GTV76W2. Have very little info on these TV`s but what do ya reckon fella`s?

I`ve had a Goodmans 32" for several years with no problems, now doing sterling duty in my small lounge.
Basically as long as you don`t expect the performance of a £ 1000.00 unit I can recommend it a good budget set, others worth a look are the Sharp 32" and the Schrieber 32" both from Asda with a no quibble 3 year guarantee.

Cheers kywy, its going for a song @ £299 with a tv stand just wanted some advice before parting with the hard earn wonga, having said that the Samsung looks nice but a tad smaller!

Where are you buying it from then at that price?

Just take a look at the verticals as there can be a bit of bend due to the stretching to fit the widescreen. It can be annoying after a while.

Buying the tv from Hitchin`s an electrical discount shop in Oswestry, if the plastic allowed it id have spent a fortune!

We bought a Bush 32" from Powerhouse for £340 a couple of months ago (take the storecard and get 10% discount)Won`t be a catalogue returns......

Ended up with a JMB 28" and the Goodman`s 32" for a snip @ £320!!! For a budget set I cant say im disappointed with the JMB, havent got round to the Goodman`s yet.
