Page 1 of Mico Diamante 3000

Is there a multi-region hack available for the Mico Diamante 3000? I would like to find out also if its firmware is capable of upgrading to play VCDs. I am new to the world of DVD players, and have a sister in the USA who wishes to move to the UK and wants to bring her DVD collection with her. Will there be any problems playing region 1 DVDs thru a UK TV using RGB connections? Help please! All replies will be gratefully received.

To access the region codes try powering up the unit with no disc, then enter 2 8 1 2 on the remote, this takes you to the secret menu. Select the global option, you are now multi-region!!
