Go for the Yammy separates + speaker package. The other two are all in one jobs with DVD players thrown in to boot, I think ? If so, no room for upgrade really, and fairly limited as to what you can plug in. At least with the Yamaha job you can plug in all your hifi components, such as CD player, record deck, etc, if you have them.

The Yamaha RXV596RDS is actually the same as the superb Yamaha DSPA5 with a built in radio tuner as well. The NSP300 speaker package is also half decent but you might get a better deal with the speakers at http://www.richersounds.com - fantastic for really cheap stuff. You may also be able to use your existing hi-fi speakers as rear surrounds (they don`t need to be fantastic quality as these are for effects only)

I agree with clayts - go for the yammy separates route-you`ll never look back! Richer sounds have the deals if you are not worried about delivery times ;)
I have the yam rds795 and mission speakers all round - shakes the ground. Luckily I still get on with my neighbours!

gRENNY,

I have the same setup as yours and thoroughly agree with what you say.

Yamaha and Mission - excellent combination.

Go for the Mission speaker package, but beware of buying from richer sounds, there`s a higher decent customer to student ratio than in most other hifi shops.

Well said Ruben.

I`ve never seen more tweed and pairs of retro trainers in my life as I did the other day when I went into my local Richer Sounds store.

God knows I didn`t buy anything though - I do actually have a bit of sense you know.
