Page 1 of Philips DVD763SA player - anyone got any opinions?

The title says it all really. I`ve noticed this has dropped in price recently and I was thinking about getting one. Has any got one?

Also, does anyone know if this is easy to region hack or is it best to buy already hacked?

What hifi and what video and tv reckon it`s bit of a doozy. For £139.99 at unbeatable you can`t go wrong!

Richer Sounds were also selling them at £139. I`ve ordered from amazon but their being a little slow at shipping it out to me! Does anyone know a multiregion hack for this player. I`ve found some round the net but can anyone confirm one that will def. work?

I`ve been looking for one as well. I`m thinking of getting one of these, at the price I don`t think it can be beaten.

I ordered mine from Amazon. I am now sending it back though as it overheats and will not play after about 2-3 hours of use.

Other than the fact that it is faulty how were the picture and sound?

Also, did you manage to find a multiregion hack that worked before you had to send it back? I`ve also ordered one from amazon so I`ll let you all know how I get on.

The picture and sound were excellent. I am really disappointed I have to send it back as it is the only player at the moment that meets my needs.

I didn`t look for any region hacks as I only have region 2 discs.

I may consider buying another one if no-one on here has any problems with theirs.
