Page 1 of Why won`t my Alba 114 play VCDs? isn`t it meant to?

hi guys!

A few months ago i went and baught myself a nice DVD 114 because people said it played VCDs etc...

Ive tryed quite a few different VCDs now and non work?

Any ideas would be great ;-)

...if you can answer my points and provide a bit more info, I might have some more ideas. I own this player myself and have had no trouble whatsoever playing VCDs.

sorry i posted this message twice i thaught that no one had bothered to read the other one.

If u can help it would be great!!!

I can use the VCDs in my alba 108 but then they wont work in the 114, it just comes up with invalid disk format :-(
