I recently picked up an Arianet 2043X which is made by the Mizuda company in China. Lovely machine with a fine picture, totally region free and macro free from the box as well as having a built in 5.1 decoder. It plays everything including DVD-R and DVD+R, VCD and SVCD and of course MP3. No Scart socket though I believe some can be obtained with them but component and s-video out. All for £80!
Anyone had any experience with this machine? (The manual is duff).
well yer an f-in genius snafu.
I now know that my Kingavon DVD28 is a Mizuda. Even Kingavon support didnt have a clue where the machine came from. Its the not knowing that`s the worst ;-)
It has a few minor quirks but overall I am pretty happy with it. Mine came with scart, optical & phono. Mizuda are a bit like Mico but not so concerned with licences I guess

Kingavon also do a desireable but pricey car portable dvd with tft TV
I believe that if you place an order for 1000 they will put any name you like on it. How do you think the `wacket dvd` would sell?
Macro Free!! Are you sure?

Yes but I can only vouch for this model. The 2233 and 2255 sold direct by Aria (and which have a scart socket) are not macro free as far as I know.
