Do Scart leads really make much of a difference in the picture quality?? Only some bloke in my local electrical retailer sells 2 types. One for £29 and another for £6, i got a £6 will this make much difference? Is it noticable??

Thanks!

Usually good quality leads do bring some improvement but bear in mind that the quality of the rest of the system will also be a limiting factor. If you have thousands of £ worth of home cinema kit you are hardly sensible if you use budget leads. Equally a budget system can only benefit so much from top quality leads. Some shops (such as Richer Sounds) will lend you some leads to try at home.

While I would never condone paying over the odds for anything, all I can say is that I`ve had problems with cheap scarts, and never with expensive ones... I leave you to draw your own conclusions...

007 - I`ll re-iterate what the guy above said - http://www.beyondhifi.com - beautiful blue SCART cables, gold plated, the works - £12. I think this was partly the reason my picture on my telly from my player improved so much !

Very quick - I had it within three days of ordering, and it came from Ireland too !

Nice one mate!

I`ll take a look and give them a go! Hopefully it`ll get rid of those vertical lines moving across the screen and some of that grainyness that appears now and again!

Thanks,

007.
