I am thinking of buying one of these for someone with a tv that only has an rf connection.Is it possible to play the dvd on such a tv

The video will probably work, I am not sure about the DVD though. Even if it does the picture quality will not be at its best.
Perhaps a TV upgrade should come before the combi player!
