do you have to get the machine chipped to disable the macrovision and region blocks. will it play r1 or RCE disks with no problems?
does anyboby know the hacks for the machine

Try looking on http://aiwaownersnetwork.tripod.com for more details on the AIWA 370 and the current hack, from previous threads I think you will need a converter to loose the macrovision, try looking on http://www.sonel.com for the MAC MASTER at £24.99 that gets rid of the dreaded macrovision, and it will play RCE disks.

Should have bought a scan Sc-2000 player... no Marcovision... No Region Code Locks... Upgradable firmware aswell..
