i got this dvd player at christmas and was real gutted when it wouldn`t play svcd and vcd so i went to this site and read all the posts about it and there was 1 with there website address on, so i logged on to it and found there phone number . i rang them they gave me the number for the help desk in this country, which is ..............0870 0130020 .
i told them it wouldn`t play vcd and svcd .
they were very helpfull and told me to ring them up with my referance number in 2 weeks and they should have the update discs in by then.
i rang them on tuesday and this morning my disc came in the post.
loaded it up and it now plays everything.
i would recomend u get one of these players as they r great and the custamer service is top notch
must agree with you too...
i emailed them off the site & the next day...dave from the service centre emailed me the patch with the instructions & i burnt it too a cd and now the player plays all my vcd/svcd great......
a very decent player with a great customer service....success!

I also think it is a great player. However, I am now on my second (faulty) machine. Took my first one back today as the picture would flick across the screen, it would do this about five times during a film.
The replacement I was given will load a DVD but freeze within about 10 seconds of playing. Resulting in me having to unplug it. It has done this on all the DVDs I have tried so far. So, back it goes to Sainsburys.
It`s now a little embarassing because I originally had the Clasica 20, which had to go back because it wouldn`t load anything.
It`s a shame because the Diamante looked great on my TV, and it did everything I wanted it too.

Well I have tried for a while to obtain the patch, I`ve emailed the address from the MiCo website, aware it was only a Hong Kong sales address I tried anyway, including in Chinese text,no reply, following a search for Pulse tech centre I emailed a few people from the site and recieved a reply today.
Unfortunately the reply is just a request to ring the helpline!
I`m still waiting for a reply from a couple more emails, but it looks like a call to the helpcentre is the only thing left.

Well I rang the help desk, and it was in the e-mail 10 minutes later. Sounds like best approach.

Agreed Dave, I rang them this morning and sure enough the patch arrived in about ten minutes, thanks.
