can anyone help ? i have just brought a pioneer dv350. does anyone know if it plays rce encoded dvds.

Depends - where did you buy it from? Was it specifically advertised as a multi-region version?
The DV350 is Region 2 only out of the box, and there`s no remote hack, so unless you bought a multi-region modified one then you won`t be able to play *any* R1 discs, let alone RCE ones.
If it is multi-region, then yes it should play RCE discs OK, but that may depend on how the player was modified.

i got it from richersounds as a multi-region, so i hope it we play these discs. thank for your responce mike. g.
