Bi-wiring...

0A1B2C (Elite) posted this on Monday, 23rd December 2002, 20:59

I haven`t actually bi-wired speakers before, so I would just like to check weather I`m going about doing it the correct way...

Now I know the general idea of it but I would just like to know... Do you have to wire the cables to terminals A and B in any specific way, apart from the obvious?

Cheers,
Adam Walby.

Have you read the "Ask Westy" column this week? All about biwiring...

just make sure that the normal polarity is ok. i.e + to + - to -and the same on the speakers.and make sure that there is no crossover between them. and no stray bits of wire touching.

Have you done it? Did you think it made a difference?

Yes I`ve done it and I do think it has made a difference. There seems to be more detail in the music and in general I think it sounds that little bit better.
