What are people`s opinions on this DVD player?

I saw a friends 350 today which is the same but with no optical output.
The GUI is very impressive.
It plays just about everything apart from the odd SVCD.
He got a multi-region one from Tectronics for about £128 delivered.

It is supposed to be a very good player with excellent graphics and sound, cheap as wel!

the picture and sound are supposed to be just as good if not better than than the dv 444

No complaints with the 444 I`ve got. I`d gladly upgrade to a 454 if I had the dosh.Only minor gripe with the 444 is that the layer change when watching a film is more noticeable than the Toshiba 210 I had before. Bu then the Toshiba was an unreliable piece of poop so there... Pioneer do another model, slightly more expensive than the 454. I forget it`s model number but it`s mega smart. Ultra thin with a mirror finish on the front. I seem to remember techtronics wanting around £180 for it as opposed to £130 for the 454. Cheeky little minx though....very tempting.
