I`ve looked at a few of these ` all-in-one ` systems and a problem many of them seem to have is a complete lack of scart sockets, which is the most desirable TV connection method. Goodness only knows why they don`t have this facility. Many don`t get good reviews either. Some part of the system is compromised, and it`s usually the player itself.
You could get 2 award winning pieces of kit for no more money and no more hassle with set-up or conenction. It`s as easy as an all-in-one.
A player like a Toshiba 220 or a Pioneer 444 for around £130 multiregion from Techtronics and the Sony HTK215 surround system for around £209 from Unbeatable I think ( see thread from a few days ago ).
That`s you spent around £350 for 2 pieces of kit that are top notch.
A better bet in my opinion.
