Page 1 of Remote for Goodmans 14" Portable

I have just (rather stupidly) bought a secondhand Goodmans 14" portable colour TV without a remote. It works OK through the scart but I can`t tune it in to anything via arial or to a video.

Does anyone know if it`s possible to tune it without a remote as there are no buttons on it.

Or does anyone just happen (as you do) to have kept a remote for a goodmans that their no longer using.

Any help would stop me having to sell it again.

You could try www.grandata.co.uk They have remotes for some Goodmans tvs. [ will be universal replacement ]

And you should see one around £7.50 ex vat and post around?

You dont have to be in the trade to buy with that firm.

Blodwin, thanks for the info. Grandata remote is £16. Did you see them for less elsewhere ? I have tried searches on various engines and can`t find them for less. Andy.

I had an aging Bush tv w/o RC but bought one from Poundland in Eldon Sq Newcastle. It worked fine but only does cannel volume and on/off but for a quid whos bothered?

Thanks Blodwin. I couldn`t find the right page on their site but I rang them. Placed the order Monday lunchtime and it arrived Tuesday morning. £7.50 inc vat and postage. Works perfectly. Thats what I call good service. They do remotes for almost all TVs. Andy.
