PLEASE GIVE ME SOME UNBIASED OPINIONS ON THE SCAN 2000, MANHATTEN 2000, AIWA 370,THEY ALL HAVE THE FUNCTIONS I WANT WHATS WRONG WITH THE SCAN! OTHER THAN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IS THE MANHATTEN THE SAME MACHINE AS THE SCAN AND WHAT MAKES THE AIWA BETTER THAN THESE 2.ARE THERE ANY OTHER MACHINES OUT THERE THAT HAVE THE SAME FUNCTIONS AND AT A RESONABLE PRICE I AM NEW TO DVD SO ANY CONSTRUCTIVE ADVICE WOULD BE WELCOME THANK YOU....

Check out the Encore DV-450 for £170 from www.amazon.co.uk, does everything the others you mention do and was awarded Home Entertainment magazine`s Budget Player Of The Year 2000 award!

The Aiwa simply because there has been NO bad report from ANYONE who has puchased it!! (and lately, thats quite a few!!)
