just wondering about the cyberhome 402 whsmith have it for 79.99 but i cant find any independent reviews on it anyone got one?

this is a cut down version of the 302 (cheaper decoder chip used) and every time you want to play adiiferent region you will have to change it manually

so this hack i found on a web site is untrue Press the Setup button on your remote control 2. Press 1, 3, 6 and 9 on your remote control 3. Press the Left button on your remote control 4. Press the Left button on your remote control 5. Press the Left button on your remote control 6. Press the Right button on your remote control 7. Select the new Version option from the menu 8. You will now be able to change the value to 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback

So does this mean that the 302 is better than the 402. I`ve found a 302 on Unbeatable.co.uk for £89.99 plus £7.99 p+p. Does this sound like a good deal. I don`t know much about DVD players, but this says it plays everything and that it is multi region.

The above hack does work but you have to select the region u want each time the 302 once set upis automatic and has a better decoder chip
