If it is the one with two fronts and a sub, i set one up for one of my dads friends, not that it was hard. But its ok nothing special, overpriced as most Bose stuff is. You could do one hell of a lot better for the money.

like i said its for his 21st but you say i could do one hell of a lot better for the money so what do you suggest???? and i will put it to him... i know its probaly overpriced but i`m the dad and he is only nearly 21

It depends are you after an all in one system, like the bose, or willing to buy all the bits seperatly?

Have a look at richer sounds web site, www.richersounds.com the sony DAVS550 is £499 and multi region always handy. Nice looking system too, and look at www.unbeatable.co.uk the YamahaYAMA DVXS100 is a nice system but is £688, but unbeatable have quite a few systems varying in price. You should really try and test them first.

No problem, i spoke to my dad who his friend the bose, and he said it was about £1000 so there are some really decent systems you could get for that price. Like i said have a look at unbeatable and see what they have.
