It does look impressive features wise, but I`m sure I`ve seen that chassis somewhere before.....just can`t quite name it though!
I`d be a bit apprehensive of a site that EVERY link you click keeps you on the same page...

"All DVD awards based on Encore DV-450 which is a re-badged NeoTek DV3000 (Excluding Macrovision Disabled)"
At bottom of page : )

Cheeky b***tards....
The 450 is based on the defunct Sampo 560 not the NeoTerd....I`m dropping them in it STRAIGHT AWAY.
AVOID this player at all costs - looks like a dodgy scam, I`m afraid.
Thanks for pointing it out, Mr Huge

Right, I`ve had a sniff around the NeoTek site - the least responsive site in the world when connecting to `About Us`
My THEORY (and it is just a THEORY, not FACT) is this is a job lot of 450s bought in from QXL when they auctioned a load of silver ones off at £149 each.
The Macrovision has probably been disabled via a way discussed on these forums more times than I care to remember, and one which I am firmly advising people not to use.
Any player claiming that another is based on it should justify that claim - how come most people knew about the Sampo before it crystallised into the beautiful 450 (!) but have never heard of NeoTek.
I have alerted Encore Direct to this masquerade, and would advise anyone being tempted by this NeoTerd offer to AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.
