Am I right in thinking that the Cyber home ADN212 (Multi-Region) Is the cheapest DVD you can buy?
At Richer Sounds its £119.95.
Now for £120 you cant go wrong.
I am such a fool for paying £300 for a Sony DVP-S335 only 6 months ago!!
Nat, this side of Christmas you are right in saying the Cyber is the cheapest. However:
(1) Don`t put yerself down for buying a Sony - that`s great quality you`ve got there, not some dodgy Far Eastern import budget job;
(2) T`other side of Christmas will see prices go sub-a-ton, I reckon.

They already ARE!
REC 3000, £99.99 from Britannia Music with 2 DVD`s included.
But 6 more DVD`s have to be bought within a 2 year membership, and when you add postage, it totals about £7 a disc more than the high street, eventually costing £42 more.
(and thats by ordering multiple discs at the same time)
However, it`s not a fantastic machine, but it certainly does the job!
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!!
Britannia ain`t that bad actually.
They`ve recently been doing a deal on their Music club whereby Chart CDs go for £7.99.
As long as you`ve been in the club after buying the requisite 6 you need to be a `fully-fledged` member, for very three you buy you get a `free recording voucher`.
And guess what ? You can get DVDs with that.
As long as the DVD is marked with the free asterisk. (Last month - cock up on East of Eden and The Bone Collector - little star where it shouldn`t have been !!!)
RE: The Cheapest DVD Player
I saw that deal with Britannia Music but you have to give at least 28 days for delivery and i wanted it for christmas.

Interesting, since Britannia`s Ads always promise delivery within 14 days.
I find that provided you can put up with their totally crap admin and accounts departments and their rip-off postage charges, they can be okay, though I wouldn`t touch their DVD club. Also, the amount of times they cockup your order is a real pain. However, complain loud enough to the right person and you get freebies to shut you up!!!!
Incidentally, comparing with a friend who is also a member, Britannia doesn`t seem to give anywhere near the level of bargains to its popular music members as it does to its classical members. The Christmas offer to classical members is, order one regular and get as many bonuses as you want. The classical magazine also has a section called "Last Chance" where they sell off CDs they are no longer going to stock at lower regular prices. Guess where my regular price disk came from to get in on the Christmas offer?
I reckon £300 worth of CDs for £85 is worth the occasional hassle of membership :)))
Daewoo DS2000D £127. No gimmicks, no tie in`s. "Brand" name.

DAEWOO? A brand name?
A brand of car maybe..they`ve NEVER been regarded in the trade as a "brand" name.
And they pulled outta the electrical sector around a year or so ago...so............

WH Smiths had a 10% off everything and the pre-sale price of the Cyber Home was £129.99 which, less the 10% beats Mr Julian.
