anyone here can help me?
I`ve got a Scan 2000 DVD player in the bedroom. I put in a DVD+RW disk in it to check if it was compatible. The disk went in, whirred about then the display came up `NO DISK` Fair enough, not compatible I thought. I pressed the eject button but the disk continued to whirr and whirr and whirr.........
now I have an unusable player as it won`t eject the disk. :oh-hum:
I`ve taken the cover of the machine to get at it from the inside but the drive unit itself is sealed much like a PC DVD-Rom drive unit.
Anyone know if there is anyway of forcing the tray to eject?

Turn the machine off, then when you turn it back on press eject before it starts to read the disk. Should work as I had a similar problem ages ago with a cd.
