i just found out that the problem with the sound from my LG DA-3520 was known by LG and all players where recalled but i need this in writing. the shop where i bought it wont replace it without proof. very awkward. LG have not replied to my e-mail either help thanks derek

when i turn it on there is a very loud hissing noise in all speakers and it doesn`t go away until you turn it off and back on again but it takes a few goes before its not as noticeable. i`m not sure if there is actually a recall but im told it only happens with models that have serial number pre 203. mine starts with 107

my first three digits are 106, so I guess mine`s been recalled. I noticed a white sound problem but it`s not very loud and mainly from the two rear speakers and sometimes the centre one. I just assumed it was my crappy wiring. Have you rung the number yet?

nah didn`t bother. brought it back to shop and they hit the reset button on bottom, think this helped but not sure.
