try the Goodmans gdv124 plays vcds, mp3s svcds and is multiregion hackable and macrovision can beswitched off. £85 from woolies

thanks for that info bluenose1 ironically my wife bought her mum a dvd player for xmas and guess what it was a goodmans 124 - tried it out this weekend fab no probs with any of our discs including svcds since youre so clever, how about the logix 3300D - sound problem with svcds it plays the picture fine but the sound mutes for about one second in every minute or so, ive altered all the sound settings but no use - any help on this one and ill have your babies PP XX
