No this machine can only be modified as it is based on a Pioneer!

i take it from your reply that the pioneers cannot be hacked. can you tell me why this is?

Pioneer,sony,panasonic,denon+yamaha are members of the dvd forum and are strictly adereing to the agreement they have signed.

I have just bought a Dv-h500 dvd I bought it off the net form discount tv uk, i asked for it to be multi- region and the man put it on a computer and did something to some chip, it now plays region 1 and 2 and get this on RCE disks the start up prohibition notice (map screen doesnt even come on) ie on patriot and hollowman. It plays the no problem, to find the shop online just type in discount teac in your search engine and you will come across them.
