Can anyone help with the Macrovision hack for the Pacific P-DVD 1000? I have been told that it is only possible to turn off Macrovision on this model by having a chip inserted. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes it must be chipped (at the moment) or get a "Macro master" lead from sonel.com for £29.99 Biteman!

There is a hack 4 the pacific 4 both region & macro region 8421 macro 4561

Sorry guys my mistake, I always get these 2 mixed up. the 750 (silver one ) is the latest model not the 1000 as u would expect the hacks are for the silver 750 from asda. there aint a macro hack 4 the 1000 u r better taking it back to asda and exchanging 4 the 750 (while u can there stopping them)
genuine mistake ( the silver ones are better anyway!!)
