Page 1 of PS2 Region X CD

Any idea how this works?

All it does is say please insert Playstaion or Playstaion 2 disc. Already sent one back to gameplay.com who said it was broken before i could explain the problem didn`t want to do it again.

No instructions except insert memory card first, which i did. This is a brand new ps2 if that makes a difference i hope it doesn`t!!

Please help!

PS SSX Tricky is the greatest game ever and Spiderman on PS1 is good for a laugh...

u have to have a memory card or it just wont work m8.
also.....ive got a new ps2 like yourself and if it has the 2.10E drivers then u will have all sorts of problems.
i rang datel tech department (01785 810838) and to cut a long story short....i sent the disk back to datel themselves and they sent me out the latest version free of charge :O)
as for instructions:
boot up with a memory card in.
when the region select comes up.
click on the one u want (press x)
the tray will come out.
put in ure dvd.
it should then go to the browser screen where u`ll see a gold disk.
click on it(press x)
VOILA!!
