i have a one for all remote model number urc-5550 with liquid crystal display how do hack 511 with it and is it the same as you do the 709 and is it permanent yours psx.

You need to use the 709 hack (later firmware). The hack cannot however be made permanent. It`s not difficult though to assign the hack to a macro key on the one for all - then it`s simply a case of a single button press if you need multi-region.

thanks dockarl for your help as i am having a 511 in two weeks and already have a 709 ,but it is playing up freezing on discs reg 1and 2 then you stop and play again and it is fine could it be overheating or could it be the laser any help please yours psx.
