1. Make sure there is no disc in the player and the disc try is closed. 2. Press Setup on the remote control. 3. Press Next, Stop, Pause/Step, Prev, Next on the player. 4. A new menu should appear. Go to SELECT REGION and make your choice of region or choose BY PASS for region-free. For the 300, you may need to use the front panel of the player rather than the remote control.
