How do you send the infra-red code RC6 to your player using a OneForAll remote? How do you configure your remote using the setup code 0539. Any help would be greatfully received. Thanks.

press vcr on one for all remote
press magic key until it blinks twice on one for all
press in digits 0539 on one for all
press power button on one for all
it should now turn off and on your dvd player
now switch player on with one for all
press magic button on one for all and let go of button
type in 085 on one for all
you should now see eleven lines on dvd display
type in 222 222 005 255 on one for all
press play button on philips dvd remote
no disk should appear on dvd display
power off player for 10 seconds
then power on
you are now multi-regional

I actually typed in 222 222 005 255 on the Philips remote and not the One4All. This worked, but I think it would help if there was a definitive answer as to whether it would work on the One4All.

Thanks for your response. I have bought a new OneForAll and tried the method you kindly sent. I am trying to hack a Phillips 622. Unfortunately following the instructions does not turn my dvd on or off. What do you think the problem is.

It may be to do with the One4All remote you are using.
I personally used a One4All 4 way digital, and I know you can use the 6 way one too.

It could also be to do with one of the earlier instructions given

`press magic key until it blinks twice on one for all` - you have to hold down the magic button. It will blink once, keep holding as it will then blink twice.
