Philips hack using one for all remote

Many thanks DVD review for providing the Philips DVD 700 series multi region hack. It worked a treat on my 701. Just like to add the following for others like myself who do not possess a One For All remote :-
I purchased a One For All 4 Digital from my local Argos store for £24.90 (code 534/0521) and after succesfully entering the hack was able , thanks to Argos`s lovely returns policy, to repackage and return it (in mint condition) the same day for a full refund ;).

Have done what you did with argos very nice company, how long will the hack stay in. If you turn power of from the mains do you lose the hack then have to reset it again?. Or once you have done it ,it is there for good !!. many thanks

Hi, I`m new to this forum but I thought I`d throw my two cents in. I had the black and white problem with R1 discs also until I upgraded my TV to a NTSC capable model, In Australia, any TV`s any older than around Five years old do not have this feature but most new ones do. I`d suggest checking to make sure your TV`s can handle both PAL (the standard) and NTSC (that dreaded system the Americans are so attached to!!). Hope this helps :)
