RE: Why is this forum called Easter Eggs?

Perhaps if you had a look at other posts, you may figure it out. ie. "Welcome to the new Easter Egg Forum"

Macrovision Hack for Philips 718

I used the region hack on this website for the Philips 718, however on some DVD`s it still appears to have macrovision enabled, does anybody have any ideas on another hack, or did I do somethig wrong with the hack??? Thanks.

RE: Help: Cast Away

Easter Egg, The following is on both the R1 and R4 two disc version, and I assume it is the same on the R2,

What Was In the Unopened Package

On the Special Features Disc Main Menu Select "Video And Stills Galleries". Then, Highlight "Raft Escape" and press Left. This will Highlight a hidden "World Of Time" logo. Select it and the director of the movie will tell you what was in the hidden Package.

Oh, and it was a solar powered Satelite Phone, Bob Zemeckis is shown speaking at a University and after being asked the question "what was in the package?" he jokingly replies "a Solar Powered Satelite Phone!"

RE: Any demand for an Easter Egg forum?

Definetly a good idea, EE forum sounds good to me!

RE: HELP! Need hack for Philips DVD-707 (not with RC6)

If you live in Australia you can buy the One for all (either 4 or 6) remote at Dick Smith. I did this and then returned it the next day, no Problems. Hope this helps.

RE: Philips hack using one for all remote

Hi, I`m new to this forum but I thought I`d throw my two cents in. I had the black and white problem with R1 discs also until I upgraded my TV to a NTSC capable model, In Australia, any TV`s any older than around Five years old do not have this feature but most new ones do. I`d suggest checking to make sure your TV`s can handle both PAL (the standard) and NTSC (that dreaded system the Americans are so attached to!!). Hope this helps :)
