this hack worked for me!!!!!!!!!! on remote press OPEN, press SETUP, press NEXT,(>), key in ,9,7,3,5. you should see a NUMBER 2 AT TOP OF SETUP SCREEN, use LEFT ARROW to select WHATEVER YOU WANT, E.G. 0, or 1

On my 1033 after I keyed in 9735 I couldn`t change the number to a zero so used 1 and this worked with both my USA imports and my normal UK discs.........
Fab .....Tour of duty tonight....

ANYWAY, I JUST KEPT PUSHING THE LEFT BUTTON AND IT CHANGED THE ORIGINAL "2" FROM 2 TO 6,5,4,3,2,1,0. ALL THE BEST !

...neither could I, however there is a 255 setting which now now plays Region 1 (it wouldn`t before) and Region 2.
Makes this great little DVD player event better - thanks!
