hi, I have an LG DR275 DVD recorder but it wont play all formats in particular VOB. is there anyone out there that can tell me if there are any settings etc I can change to accomplish this?

Some players will plat `raw` mpeg2 files - which is what vob files basically are. Try renaming them..

thanks, when u say rename them do u mean when burning them or ? I have the discs, no pc but want to watch the content which I have been told is in a VOB format. novice
