Page 1 of Wharfedale 750 remote multi-region hack and RCE

Being a new DVD owner, I may be way off track here but is it possible that the numbers in the 0,1,2,3 Wharfedale multi-region hack represent the region codes of DVD`s that this player will play. This may be a way of bypassing RCE by returning the player to region 2 only, and then inputing only the number of the region that you require to be played ? What do you think ?

Unfortunately I can`t test this myself as I have no DVD`s with RCE, although I do have several region 1 disks that do play.

Have tried different combos,and as far as I know there is no hack to do!
Sent of for new chip for player but dont have RCE disc to try yet(One due Monday/Tuesday latest!)
Did have problems with Cruel Intentions R1 disc (a padlock kept coming up and disc wouldnt play at all)but now works o.k! & also Mission to mars which now plays.

I have an original early DVD 750 - a copy of the Patriot and the new chip from DVDChips.co.uk.

The chip arrived today and I have now fitted it and watched the Patriot all the way through.

The hardest bit about this whole thing was forcing myself to watch all of the Patriot.

Panic over everyone - we can all go back to sleep now.

Yes The Patriot arrived and now plays in my player!
£20 well spent as long as more RCE or RC1 discs as they seem to be called come out!(Although I can now play Cruel Intentions which would never play & Mission to Mars)
Oh lucky me!
The Patriot was better than I thought!
