I own the Toshiba 28 inch widescreen and can thoroughly recommend it. Picture and sound quality are both very good, it has Pro-logic and a built-in sub-woofer. It comes with a smart stand and separate surround speakers, it is very user-friendly but I think it is now being phased out.

What is macrovision ? - Wharfedale 750
I have heard macrovision being mentioned in these forums but being new to the DVD world have no idea what it is !!! Can anyone offer me an explanation and is there a code to disable it on the Wharfedale 750. Excuse my stupidity !!
Wharfedale 750 remote multi-region hack and RCE
Being a new DVD owner, I may be way off track here but is it possible that the numbers in the 0,1,2,3 Wharfedale multi-region hack represent the region codes of DVD`s that this player will play. This may be a way of bypassing RCE by returning the player to region 2 only, and then inputing only the number of the region that you require to be played ? What do you think ?
Unfortunately I can`t test this myself as I have no DVD`s with RCE, although I do have several region 1 disks that do play.
